We’re seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Deputy Manager - Maternity cover to join our leadership team at The Old Potting Shed Nursery, near Blagdon.
This is an excellent development opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to support and inspire colleagues.
As Deputy Manager, you will bring confident leadership, a collaborative approach, and a genuine commitment to child-centred care. Working closely with the management team, you’ll take a whole-site perspective—contributing not only to the nursery but also to our wider operations, including our on-site seed to grow project and early years catering hub.
We’re looking for someone who shares our vision for sustainability and is motivated to reduce environmental impact while inspiring children to care for the world around them. Whether you’re an experienced leader or ready to take the next step in your career, you’ll play a key role in supporting staff development, driving continuous improvement, and helping every child reach their full potential.
Each of our nurseries and preschools are designed to meet the needs of each child.
We have a play-based curriculum which focuses upon being outdoors, giving children limitless possibilities to explore and learn whilst having fun.
