Practical Work Skills Tutor
Based: Key College, Ilkeston
Salary: £25918 – £26518pa (depending on qualifications and experience)
Hours: 35hrs per week
Do you have a passion and skills with green skills, digital skills or construction. Do you have experience working within any of these sectors? If so, we are looking for a practical works skills tutor with a skillset in any of these areas to tutor our young people working towards qualifications. No previous experience in teaching essential, with opportunities for professional development for the right candidate. If you have a passion for working with young people within these sectors and want to support young people to achieve their qualifications we want to hear from you.

We are seeking a creative thinker with a ‘can-do’ attitude and an ability to influence others to use our services.
This fast-paced and varied role gives an individual the chance to make a real impact on our success. This role will be sales focussed working towards set KPI’s, building effective relationships with our customers and maximising our brand recognition.
Ideally you will have the following: –
CET or equivalent or commitment to work towards
GCSE maths and English at level 4 or above (or equivalent)
Proficient in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases
and Outlook
TAQA 3 qualification or commitment to work towards
A relevant up to date qualification or industrial experience in a vocational area
around horticulture, land management, Digital skills & IT, or construction/
mechanics.
Previous experience of working within young people.
A driving license and use of own car is essential as there will be an expectation to work across numerous sites.
