Location: Derby
Salary: £14.64 per hour
Hours: 5–7 per week on one day. Flexible as to which day on a weekly basis.

About the role:
You will provide specialist, flexible support to the Finance Manager on a weekly basis, helping to ensure the smooth running of finance operations. No single day will be the same, but monthly tasks will vary. You will also play an important role in coordinating support for the Finance Manager in completing Nursery payroll, project work and nominal reconciliations.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum AAT Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience
- Proactive and self‑motivated with a can‑do attitude
- Strong team player who can build relationships with the wider business
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of people including staff, service users and external agencies
- Excellent planning and organisation skills, with the ability to manage several competing tasks at the same time
- Ability to use digital technology at work
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a solution‑focused approach
- Willingness to work flexibly and able to adapt with the organisation
