Requirements
- Commitment to YMCA Derbyshire’s values and aims.
- Understanding of safeguarding principles for children, young people, and adults at risk.
- Awareness of social issues affecting families (e.g. housing insecurity, isolation).
- Knowledge of local services and referral pathways (or willingness to learn).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and support families to achieve their goals.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Accurate record-keeping and monitoring skills.
