YMCA Cornwall, a respected and growing local charity, is seeking a visionary Managing Director to drive our mission: ensuring every young person has the foundation for a safe, healthy, and fulfilling life. Based in Penzance, we support young people aged 16-24 at risk of homelessness, providing supported accommodation, life skills, and mentoring, as well as vital services for the wider community.

About the Role:

Provide strategic and operational leadership to a financially robust, values-driven organisation.
Oversee and innovate youth services and supported housing, ensuring person-centred, safe, and effective delivery.
Lead a talented team, foster a culture of inclusion and inspiration, and champion our values: seeking out, serving others, inspiring, speaking out, and welcoming all.
Build strong partnerships with local authorities, funders, and community organisations, and represent YMCA Cornwall as a visible ambassador.
Drive sustainable growth, manage budgets, and secure diverse funding sources.
