YMCA Cornwall, a respected and growing local charity, is seeking a visionary Managing Director to drive our mission: ensuring every young person has the foundation for a safe, healthy, and fulfilling life. Based in Penzance, we support young people aged 16–24 at risk of homelessness, providing supported accommodation, life skills, and mentoring, as well as vital services for the wider community.
About the Role:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to a financially robust, values-driven organisation.
- Oversee and innovate youth services and supported housing, ensuring person-centred, safe, and effective delivery.
- Lead a talented team, foster a culture of inclusion and inspiration, and champion our values: seeking out, serving others, inspiring, speaking out, and welcoming all.
- Build strong partnerships with local authorities, funders, and community organisations, and represent YMCA Cornwall as a visible ambassador.
- Drive sustainable growth, manage budgets, and secure diverse funding streams.
What We Offer:
