Our clients stay with us because of the relationships we build, and we're looking for an Account Manager to help us keep raising that bar. As the trusted main contact for a portfolio of clients, you'll steer their campaigns from brief to delivery, working closely with our creative, digital, media and production teams to bring great work to life. This is a great opportunity for someone with agency experience who loves people, thrives on organisation, and wants to grow their career with an agency that genuinely invests in its team.

Combining specialist expertise with a collaborative, people-first approach, creating positive outcomes for our people, clients and communities isn't an initiative at Bigwave, it's part of who we are. We're looking for an Account Manager to join us in January 2027.
About the job
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys looking after clients and takes real pride in getting the detail right. You'll be the person our clients turn to first: building trust, understanding their goals, and making sure every campaign lands on time, on budget and to a standard we're all proud of. Behind the scenes, you'll keep our internal teams briefed, organised and moving in the same direction. You'll be a natural collaborator who stays calm when things get busy, communicates clearly, and is always ready to support your manager and the wider Client Services team. You won't just manage the work in front of you. You'll spot opportunities to do more for your clients and help shape the ideas that grow those relationships.
What You'll Bring
- Agency Experience: 2+ years in a marketing, creative or digital agency, acting as the day to day contact for clients.
- Campaign Delivery: A solid grasp of marketing principles and experience running campaigns across digital, social, content, print and events.
- Project Management: Confidence managing several campaigns at once, along with their timelines, resources and budgets, and writing clear briefs, schedules and status reports.
- Relationship Building: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle tricky conversations with tact.
- Commercial Awareness: An eye for opportunities within your accounts, and the confidence to help present new ideas to clients.
- Values-Led Mindset: You naturally align with our values and believe that doing the right thing for people, clients and communities is just as important as delivering great results.
Why You'll Love It Here
In addition to your salary, you'll benefit from:
- True hybrid balance: 3 days at home / 2 days in the office (Wednesday & Thursday)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Office closure between Christmas and New Year

- Access to a rewards platform
