About The Position
We are looking for a Relief Swim Instructor to join our team. We offer swim lessons for local schools teaching their students how to swim.
This Role Will Involve:
- Teaching swimming techniques and water safety to school-aged children
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
- Ensuring pool safety

Additional Information:
The role has a statutory, occupational requirement to ensure the safety and welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk that they may come across using our services. The post holder will take responsibility for safeguarding as a priority and follow YMCA Bournemouth safeguarding policy and relevant statutory guidance. Employment will be subject to satisfactory references, right to work checks and a Disclosure and Barring Service check. If the role involves regulated activity with children or adults at risk, an Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to commencement. All other applicable roles may require a Basic DBS check.
