About The Position

We are looking for a general cleaning assistant to join our team and contribute to the general upkeep of the facility, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our members. The role may involve overtime when staff are on holiday or off due to sickness. You will work within the sports and leisure department, showing attention to detail and the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

This Role Will Involve

  • Cleaning and maintaining toilets and shower blocks
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Tidying and sanitising studios
  • Emptying and managing bins
  • General upkeep of the facility

  • The role has a safeguarding requirement to ensure the safety and welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk. The post holder will follow YMCA Bournemouth safeguarding policy and relevant statutory guidance.
