Overview
Apprentice Recreational Assistant/Lifeguard opportunity at the Junction Sports and Leisure Centre. You will complete an 18-month placement, studying a Level 2 Leisure Team Member qualification, alongside full-time work as required by the association. At the end of the qualification, you will be national lifeguard qualified and will achieve an STA certificate/award in teaching swimming and a Level 2 certificate in gym instructing.

The role has a statutory occupational requirement to ensure the safety and welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk using our services. The post holder will prioritise safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk and follow YMCA Bournemouth safeguarding policy and Dorset/Solicitors Partnership guidance as applicable.
