YMCA are looking for experienced individuals with the motivation to see young people thrive, to join our dynamic and supportive housing team. These people will support the Housing Services Manager to ensure the provision of high-quality, person-centred support to our residents.
Role Responsibilities
- Engaging with young people identifying their passions, aspirations and removing barriers that prevent them from achieving their full potential.
- Promoting and leading engagement activities.
- Creating and delivering programmes to aid the development of young people.
- Supporting young people to gain necessary life skills and develop independent living skills.
- Liaising with other teams regarding emergencies and complaints.
- Understanding safeguarding requirements and duty of care when working with vulnerable individuals.
Requirements
- Experienced individuals with the motivation to work with young people.
- Understanding of safeguarding and duty of care for vulnerable populations.
- Completion of an enhanced DBS check before taking up the role.
