We are currently seeking Care Support Assistants to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting individuals within our short stay (respite) provision based in Northwich, Cheshire.

About the Role

As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care.

After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £15.00 per hour for day shifts.

The role will be a full time (36 hours) with mixture of day and night shifts (sleeping & waking).

  • Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
  • Supporting individuals to take part in meaningful activities, both within the service and in the community
  • Assisting clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Administering medication when required

To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need

  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Be confident in leading and supporting activities.
  • Beenthusiastic, reliable and motivated.
  • Have a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills
  • Be flexible and person-centred in their approach to support.
  • A full UK driving licence is advantageous
  • Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
