We develop a diverse range of energy projects, including Landfill Gas Generation, Flare Systems, Embedded Gas Generation, BESS, Combined Heat & Power systems, Client-side Behind the Meter power generation, Solar/PV arrays and more, in the UK and overseas.
Main Responsibilities
- The role will require attendance to allocated site/s to respond quickly to any failure or interruption to equipment operation.
- Working hours may vary depending upon trading and operation of the plant.
- Day to day operation and record keeping for infrastructure, plant and equipment.
- Housekeeping of all mechanical, thermal and electrical plant deployed at the Company’s energy production facilities.
- Fault diagnosis, location and rectification.
- Breakdown response for generating assets with minimum outages.
- Provide assistance with call out cover to remotely respond to generating asset and equipment failure in the area.
- A commitment to Health, Safety Quality and Environmental practices following all procedures and using your own judgement.
- Compliance and implementation of company protection procedures with a proactive approach to maintaining, monitoring, reporting and auditing.
- Managing your time effectively.
- The continuous enhancement of skills and knowledge, and that of the team members working with you.
Key Tasks
- Utilisation and compliance of the company’s operations and maintenance procedures, manuals, record keeping and stock control systems.
- Basic maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical plant.
- Reset of warnings and alarms when appropriate.
- Showing the company in a good light by maintaining a clean, well-run site at all times.
- Work within the constraints of the company’s H&S and quality systems.
- Commitment to training to enhance knowledge and skills with regard environmental protection and materials.
- Deal directly with spillages using pollution prevention equipment.
- Completion of basic outstanding works raised by site audits.
- Any reasonable task required by the management in the exercising of its goals.
Knowledge/Experience
- Experience in either a mechanical, or electrical field.
- Experience working with generation assets (reciprocating engines, solar).
- Computer literate.
