About the role: YLD has grown over the last 18 months and has ambitious targets for continued growth. To support this, we\’re looking for a Senior Client Partner to manage client relationships, lead teams, and contribute to commercial strategies. Your role will involve partnering with clients, building trust, and working with consultants to ensure impactful engagements. Reporting to the Head of Client Services, you\’ll provide leadership for teams working on complex products or services.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Managing client engagements throughout their lifecycle, working with commercial and delivery teams to meet expectations.
  2. Building long-term client relationships and establishing trust with key stakeholders.
  3. Conducting regular account assessments and acting as a point of escalation.
  4. Overseeing profitability, performance, billing, and payment processes.
  5. Enhancing the perception of our work within client organizations and supporting transformation initiatives.
  6. Collaborating with internal teams to manage staffing, including interviewing and onboarding new members.
  7. Dealing effectively with people matters impacting client engagements.

Required skills and experience:

  1. Proven success in similar roles within software development consultancies.
  2. Strong stakeholder management and consulting experience.
  3. Knowledge of large-scale software delivery in complex environments, with hands-on experience preferred.
  4. Experience in complex organizations and multi-supplier settings is advantageous.
  5. Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to foster trust.
  6. Pragmatic, strategic approach to engagement management.
  7. Strong communication skills, including writing marketing collateral and case studies.
  8. Financial acumen and commercial awareness.
