Role
Position: Contract QA Engineer
Location: Remote (EU-based, GMT timezone)
Department: Engineering
Employment Type: B2B Contract
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Look Like This
- Developing an automation framework using NodeJS (ExpressJS).
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Cypress.io with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Working with Playwright (CodeceptJS/Puppeteer) to test features, including heavy use of mocking techniques for HTTP and WebSocket protocols.
- Working with Selenium WebDriver to write automation tests for testing 3rd party APIs and services from API gateways.
- Using WebDriver to write automation tests.
- Working with Jenkins as a CI/CD tool to run tests and suites for different environments like QA/Dev/Stage.
- Write unit tests using Jest.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve bugs.
- Strong experience working in Agile methodology.
- Using Jira as a task management tool and Zephyr to manage test cases.
- Using Testomat.io for reporting/auditing automated test results.
Technical Competencies
- Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role;
- Experience in project management and QA methodology;
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus;
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors;
- Proven experience with tools/languages such as Jest, NodeJS, Selenium WebDriver and Cypress.io.
