Your role will be focussed in supporting and shaping a vibrant and ever-growing influencer-first agency, delivering exceptional work to UK leading brands.

This role provides the opportunity to work and scale our UK accounts and help develop a team around you locally as the business grows.

You will have the opportunity to lead key campaigns across the year that will involve working with our strategy, creative and production teams to deliver best in class integrated influencer campaigns.

You will also oversee and input on the execution of brand strategies across a series of global clients.

This role is perfect for someone who has a proven track record of thriving in a rapidly growing and fast-paced working environment with an emphasis on Beauty and Luxury.

They will have experience creating full 360 campaigns with a focus on influencer.

The ideal candidate will know how to effectively manage, upsell, and grow accounts, as well as input on operational processes and help optimise the way we deliver exceptional work to existing and new clients.

The candidate would ideally feel comfortable working dynamically and finding flexibility across a fast paced environment and small local team.

They will additionally work closely with the MP to lead the day-to-day management of the accounts.

Who you will be working with

Line manager

As one of the first senior hires in the UK, you will report directly to the Managing Partner, providing feedback on day-to-day successes, developments, and challenges.

Cross-collaboration

You will actively work and collaborate with our global network of 500 talent in over 35 countries, from producers, creatives, strategists, and external suppliers.

  • You are accountable for
  • Build and create productive client relationships throughout the delivery of projects, clearly communicating and managing expectations throughout.
  • Leading day-to-day client management: Weekly calls, project updates, reporting sessions (etc) with purpose and intent.
  • Growing existing and new accounts, proactively identifying innovative ways to deliver on client objectives, cross-selling and upselling our offering across production, content, social, paid, and talent.
  • Proactively identifying project ‘wins’ and opportunities to grow the accounts and deliver value to clients.
  • Quality control & flawless delivery of projects: Overseeing overall health of projects, ensuring Ykone’s excellence standard is reflected across client satisfaction scores
  • Campaign strategy: Taking learnings from each campaign and applying them to new projects, and contributing to research and ideation for campaigns.
  • Campaign planning: Recommending objectives, targets, metrics, action plans, calendar, and budget for upcoming campaigns.
  • Ensure finance trackers/ tools are accurate and up to date, and that projects meet targets and objectives.
  • You lead on
  • Delivering meaningful client innovation and growth: Presenting new ideas, concepts, actions and insights that add value to the businesses of existing and new clients.
  • Manage day-to-day team actions.
  • Prepare for and leading client kick-off meetings.
  • Developing strategic account value build plans for each client.
  • You directly manage
  • Account Manager’s and Executives’ career development and general performance: Mentor and educate direct reports on best account management practices.
  • You’ll input into
  • Ongoing team learning and training - Identifying needs for development.
  • Client SWOT analysis, and the identification of growth opportunities with each client.
  • Cross-group business opportunities for collaboration.
  • Identifying areas for growth and improvement across the operation, processes, team and campaigns.
  • Gathering key client intelligence (Getting to know your clients and what motivates them).
  • You’ll also be involved in
  • Onboarding new members of the team.
  • Contributing to internal positive team culture and building.
  • What is expected from you
  • Delivery
  • Take responsibility for successful delivery of the projects assigned to you.
  • Understand staffing and scoping requirements for your projects – working with upper management to generate scopes of work, and timing plans accordingly.
  • Manage the budget on your projects, and work with the Accounting department to manage costs and deliverables as well as staffing resources.
  • Understand the importance of account ‘admin’- issuing contact reports etc.
  • Seeing the bigger picture
  • Use innovation and trends to make projects relevant, finding the “white spaces” not always directly identified by clients.
  • Be able to see and critique the work we do in its strategic context – how and why it answers a client business problem and how it connects to the bigger picture.
  • Provide opinions about the brief and the work and be keen to contribute – clearly valuing the quality of the work and how it fits within a wider brand strategy over a pure focus on process and delivery.
  • Commercial and Data Acumen
  • Recognise when to escalation issues which have commercial implications
  • Present strong commercial acumen of influencer practiced fees, actively inputting on commercial project forecasts, ensuring fair and reasonable alignment with industry benchmarks and practiced rates
  • Have the ability to compile, analyse and interpret data across campaign development, management and optimisation
  • Proactively consult with key members of the project teams (internal and external), to facilitate partnership‑oriented actions.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients, aligning their goals with effective campaign strategies.
  • Problem solving & decision making
  • Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Proactively inputting on agency processes and ways of working – facilitating conversations between team members and considering how we can make the work even better at each stage.
  • Proactively resolve problems and make decisions on your projects, consulting with stakeholders as needed.
  • Actively recognise when escalation is necessary without being prompted.
  • Create relevant action plans for addressing identified problems/opportunities and achieving desired outcomes on your projects
