Location: Roehampton Lane, SW15 4LB Job Type: Permanent, Full Time About Us: We are a well-established, multi-disciplinary practice based in London, with a strong track record of delivering thousands of high-quality residential and commercial projects over the last 14 years. Our portfolio primarily focuses on residential developments, including creative extensions and new builds. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional design and construction outcomes, and we're looking for a driven Architectural Technician, with UK job-running experience to join our team. If you’re passionate about technical design, co-ordination and detailing, this is an exciting opportunity to advance your career within a busy company. The Role: As an Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in the delivery of our projects during RIBA Stages 4-7. You will be responsible for the production of detailed working drawings, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations, and managing the coordination during the construction phase. Working closely with our Part 3 Architect and project teams, you'll be involved in every step of the construction process, from initial design handover to on-site delivery. Key Responsibilities: * Produce high-quality technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD for construction and project delivery. * Assist in the preparation of tender documents, specifications, and construction packages under the supervision of senior architects. * Ensure all projects comply with UK Building Regulations and maintain the highest standards of construction quality. * Participate in site inspections, client meetings, and on-site coordination with contractors, monitoring project progress and ensuring quality control. * Provide support in the preparation of technical designs and construction detailing during RIBA Stages 4-7. * Communicate effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring smooth project execution and timely delivery. Experience and Qualifications: * Degree Level in an RIBA/CIAT accredited course or equivalent relevant experience. * Proven experience working on a variety of project types, particularly during the construction phase. * Proficiency in Revit (essential), AutoCAD, and other construction-related software. Skills Required: * Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and modern construction methodologies. * Excellent command of both written and spoken English. * Proven ability to produce detailed technical drawings for construction purposes. * On-site experience, with strong communication and collaboration skills when working with contractors and stakeholders. * Effective time management and organisational skills to ensure the timely delivery of tasks and accurate project reporting. * Ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands and work under pressure.
