Job Description:
We’re excited to welcome a well-organised and enthusiastic Architectural Assistant to our Planning Team. If you’re passionate about architecture, love working with people, and have a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect role for you. We’re looking for someone with strong client management skills, a good understanding of planning policies, and an ability to bring ideas to life. Proficiency in Revit is essential, and experience with SketchUp or Enscape is a bonus.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with experienced architects from RIBA Stage 0-3, gain hands-on experience in planning applications, detail design, and contribute to turning creative concepts into reality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare Revit and AutoCAD drawings for planning applications
* Use excellent people skills and presentation abilities to effectively convey ideas and concepts to key stakeholders
* Assist in the coordination and management of planning applications, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and initiative in handling your own projects
* Conduct planning research and apply planning policies to designs
* Collaborate with the design team on concept development and project execution
* Ensure project deadlines are met and provide regular reporting
Experience & Qualifications:
* Degree in Architecture or related field (RIBA/CIAT accredited)
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural roles, preferably focused RIBA Stages 0-3
* Working use of Revit
* Right to work in the UK is required
Additional Skills:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent command of written and spoken English
* Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team
