A premium OEM/ODM manufacturer and strategic supplier to global high-end fashion and luxury brands, Yibi focuses on premium hardware, fine jewelry components, fashion accessories and precision metal solutions. Equipped with a 50,000㎡ precision manufacturing base in China, we provide end-to-end services for international brands, covering product development, custom sampling, technical optimisation and high-quality mass production.
We are hiring a UK-based Product Development Manager to support our growing portfolio of premium and luxury clients across the UK and Europe. Acting as the key link between our China headquarters and European clients, you will oversee end-to-end product development, sample iteration, cross-border technical communication and market localisation for luxury hardware, jewelry accessories and high-fashion components. We are looking for a professional with deep insight into modern European luxury aesthetics and solid manufacturing awareness. You will translate client creative concepts and market trends into feasible, manufacturable and high-quality products that meet UK and European luxury market standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle product development projects for UK and European luxury fashion clients, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery in full compliance with brand requirements.
- Oversee sample iteration, deliver professional technical communication and complete accurate, efficient production handovers with internal teams.
- Track UK and European fashion trends and client positioning, converting creative briefs and client needs into practical, market-competitive product solutions.
- Serve as the key liaison between European clients and China-based R&D and production teams, enabling effective cross-timezone collaboration, tracking project progress and resolving technical and production issues promptly.
- Support product research and development, advise on material selection, surface finishing and structural optimisation, and streamline product development workflows for the European market.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product development experience with proven project management and client communication skills.
- Solid industry background in fine jewelry, high-end fashion accessories, luxury hardware, leather goods hardware or related luxury fashion supply chain fields.
- In-depth knowledge of materials, structural design, surface finishing and full sampling and prototyping processes.
- Experience working with UK/European premium or luxury fashion brands is highly preferred.
- Fluent in English (mandatory); Mandarin is a strong plus for cross-border teamwork.
- Must be currently based in the United Kingdom.
