This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Oakmere Retirement Living Scheme in Handforth and deliver a high quality, customer focused and proactive administration service that meets the needs and requirements of older people. The role is predominantly a customer facing role providing opportunities to make a real difference to our customers’ lives. As part of the Oakmere team you will provide support and signposting to our customers; and work with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the scheme, promoting a friendly, vibrant community enabling our customers at Oakmere to live independently.
Customer support is key to this role – you will be the face of the organization, dealing in person with customers, visitors and external partners. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a true people person, always on the lookout for opportunities to improve and enhance YHG’s service to our customers.
What will my working week look like? You will be based onsite at Oakmere, situated in Handforth. Your work hours will be 24 hours per week. We operate a two‑week rota which includes working alternate Saturdays 10‑2. Week one is 8‑5 Monday, 10‑2 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Week two is 8‑1 Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 8‑1 Friday and 10‑2 Saturday.
What will I be responsible for doing? To be successful as an Administrator, here at YHG, you will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Strong IT skills
- Strong organisational skills

In return we offer £16,785.60 for a 24 hour week, and 25 days (pro‑rata) annual leave (holidays also increase with time served) plus Bank Holidays.
