This is an exciting opportunity to join Your Housing Group at a pivotal moment for public sector procurement. With the Procurement Act now in force and a renewed focus on delivering our Corporate Plan, we’re looking for an experienced Procurement Business Partner who can help shape and deliver high-quality, compliant and commercially strong procurement across our organisation.

If you’re passionate about using procurement as a force for social value, community impact and genuinely improving the lives of customers, you’ll feel right at home here.

What will my working week look like?

You’ll be based at home, living within the North West and able to travel to our Warrington Head Office around twice a week for collaboration, meetings and training. You’ll work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders and suppliers, becoming a trusted commercial advisor and helping teams navigate procurement with confidence and clarity. Expect plenty of variety, visibility, and the chance to make a noticeable difference across the business.

What will I be responsible for doing?

  • Lead end to end procurement activity – from defining the need through to contract award and mobilisation.
  • Deliver compliant and commercially robust sourcing aligned to the Procurement Act.
  • Manage a diverse pipeline of procurements, using spend analytics, data insights and market engagement to shape strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across all directorates.
  • Develop sourcing and category strategies that drive value for money, improved contract outcomes and long‑term supplier performance.
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes, templates and ways of working.

This role offers genuine breadth – you’ll gain exposure across multiple categories, from corporate services to customer operations to housing and repairs. No two weeks look the same.

And what would make me stand out from the crowd?

You’ll be successful here if you bring…

  • Demonstrable experience running and delivering public sector procurement (experience in social housing a strong advantage).
  • Solid understanding of PCR2015, the Procurement Act and best practice sourcing principles.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of achieving value for money and measurable savings.
  • The confidence to influence, challenge and guide stakeholders in a constructive and supportive way.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • MCIPS qualification or active progression towards it.

And if you’re someone who enjoys solving problems, shaping commercial solutions and seeing real‑world impact from your work, this role will play to your strengths.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000‑£60,000, a 35 hour week and 25 days annual leave, increasing with service.
