What will my working week look like?

What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, you will support the endâtoâend recruitment process across the Group and will gain practical experience in candidate attraction, selection and onboarding whilst learning how recruitment contributes to delivering a highâquality customer service to our customers, and to building strong, diverse teams.
You will get involved in a wide variety of exciting tasks to support your studies, and no two days will be the same! This will include managing applications and communication with candidates, coordinating interview arrangements and processes, working with a wide range of colleagues at all levels to advise on recruitment queries and support their recruitment requirements and projects, and managing recruitment records and data to keep these up to date. Excitingly, you will also have the opportunity to support on and promote other apprenticeship opportunities throughout YHG!
And what would make me stand out from the crowd?
This apprenticeship is a great opportunity to start a career within inâhouse recruitment, learn from experienced employees in recruitment and human resources, and make a real impact in bringing new talent into the Housing Sector. It is perfect for you if you are a keen problem solver, and collaborative team player, keen to get involved and take initiative. Crucially, are confident in talking to people at all levels both in conversation and through clear emails, and in using technology and software packages, with a genuine interest in developing a career in this area, eager to learn and grow.
That all sounds great, what's in it for me?
In return we offer NMW/NLW for a 35âhour week, and 25 days annual leave (holidays also increase with length of service) plus Bank Holidays, but our benefits offer much more than just a competitive salary and holiday allowance. We trust our people to manage their own diaries; if you need time for an appointment, the school run or an exercise class, if it fits with business needs, we're open to what works for you too. And when you need to collaborate with your team, you will visit Youggle House â our wellâbeing, social, collaboration and meeting space, in Birchwood, Warrington.
On top of this, we'll provide you with a great benefits package, including a contributory pension where we match whatever you choose to contribute (up to 8%), an advanced level Healthcare cash plan through Medicash, that doesn't just provide dental and optician cashback but also health and wellbeing benefits (such as 24/7 GP Access, money back from prescriptions and alternative therapy treatments) and an amazing discount scheme that gives you access to half price cinema tickets, subsidised gym memberships and a huge range of discounts with some of the biggest high street and online names.
