Digital Product Manager

Hybrid (home/office based)

Fixed term, temporary contract (12 months)

Full time, 37.5 hours per week

£40,094 – £47,758 per annum

Occasional travel overnights and working out of hours may be required.

We\’re seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to join our team on a 12-month temporary contract, managing customer-facing digital platforms that generate over £20m in annual revenue. Working under the Director of Technology and Transformation and partnering with Commercial Department Heads, you\’ll translate strategic vision into actionable plans and lead product development to ensure our digital platforms meet both business objectives and user needs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Execute product roadmaps – Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver digital product strategies, implementing new features through cross-functional team leadership
  • Optimise user experiences – Leverage data analytics, user feedback, and industry benchmarks to drive improvements across all digital platforms using Agile methodologies
  • Manage digital content and incidents – Oversee content creation and curation whilst acting as primary responder to platform incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal user impact
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration – Build strong relationships with internal teams and third-party providers to deliver digital products aligned with business strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement – Work with project managers and development teams to assess and enhance working processes, incorporating feedback to optimise the product development lifecycle

Essential

What skills and experience you need

  • Proven experience managing high-value digital commerce platforms (£20m+ annual revenue)
  • Strong track record in digital product lifecycle management from conception to post-launch analysis
  • Ability to analyse user data, market trends, and competitor insights to drive platform improvements
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership
  • Technical understanding of digital platforms with ability to communicate requirements to developers
  • Expertise in UX/UI design principles and wireframing
  • Incident management and problem-resolution experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including workshop facilitation
  • Strong project management capabilities handling multiple concurrent deliverables

Desirable

  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or charity sector digital platforms
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, and PHP
  • Agile/Scrum certifications
  • Experience with both in-house and third-party development teams
  • Analytics and data visualisation skills
