Job Opportunity: Executive Assistant to Co-Founders

  • We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Co-Founders in expanding the three pillars of their global investment and philanthropic initiatives, which are in the early stages in the UK. These three pillars include 1) A global investment fund focusing on long-term investments in world-changing technologies, 2) A non-profit foundation focusing on rare diseases, 3) A non-profit foundation focusing on innovative education. The Co-Founders believe in the mission of solving important problems by investing in underfunded and overlooked areas and creating world-class organisations. The Executive Assistant role offers a unique opportunity for a long-term career, providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation and meaningful growth of multiple ventures.
  • The Executive Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting both business and personal aspects of the Co-Founders' lives.
  • The business-specific aspects of the role will be varied and multifaceted. The Co-Founders’ initiatives span medical and scientific research, education, and investment, offering a diverse and enriching experience. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Citrin Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to finding a cure for a rare disease and providing support to patients. They will assist the Co-Founders in the running of the investment company, YH2 Capital and for overseeing Cresconova Academy, a charitable educational organisation offering innovative curriculum to inspired learners as well as underprivileged youths.
  • Of equal importance to the business-specific responsibilities, the role will entail managing aspects of the principals’ household and personal affairs with discretion and confidentiality.

This dynamic position requires an adaptable, resourceful, and efficient professional with strong communication skills who is comfortable taking initiative. The ideal candidate will excel in independent research to provide well-informed recommendations, seamlessly handle administrative tasks with efficiency and strong multi-tasking abilities, and coordinate activities across multiple entities. A growth mindset, flexibility, and a willingness to explore new productivity tools are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research into any given area independently to recommend the best solutions.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact and safe pair of hands for both professional and personal matters.
  • Adapt to various responsibilities and tasks as needed, demonstrating a proactive, versatile and supportive approach.
  • Ensure all tasks are executed to a high standard with attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive personal administrative support, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
  • Assist with business operations, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agenda and minutes, and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Work in a team to assist the principals in ensuring smooth administration of the business operations across different entities.
  • Manage household affairs, including vendor coordination, travel planning, event planning, and personal errands.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements:

  • Efficient and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • A degree holder is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
