Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role located in Plymouth for Landscape/Grounds Maintenance Operatives. The role involves undertaking a variety of tasks related to landscape and grounds maintenance, tree planting and general upkeep of green public open spaces. Duties may include mowing, planting, pruning, weeding, and maintaining outdoor spaces to high standards. The role requires collaboration within a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in Landscape Maintenance and general Gardening tasks.
- Proficiency in tree and shrub planting and under‑ground tree crate systems to specification and Landscape design.
- Knowledge of Landscaping techniques and best practices in line with seasonal changes.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in landscaping or horticulture are advantageous such as chain saw or PA1-6.
