We are seeking a Drainage Designer with 1 to 3 years' drainage design experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an early-career civil or drainage engineer looking to develop their skills on real infrastructure projects. You will be involved in the design of trackside and off-track drainage systems, working closely with senior engineers and supporting delivery across rail and civil infrastructure schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drainage design for rail and civil infrastructure projects
- Use of InfoDrainage for hydraulic modelling and drainage layouts
- Preparation of drainage calculations, drawings, and technical reports
- Supporting site visits and coordination with project teams
- Assisting with design development through different project stages
Essential Requirements
- 1-3 years' experience in drainage design
- Strong working knowledge of InfoDrainage
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Drainage Engineering, or similar
- Good understanding of drainage principles and UK standards
- willingness to attend site visits as required
Desirable Experience
- Experience in railway track drainage or off-track drainage design
- Familiarity with infrastructure projects in Anglia, Kent, Sussex, or Wessex
- Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams
Candidates based in or near these regions will be at an advantage due to the need for occasional site visits.
