A leading supplier of garage doors and related access solutions is looking to recruit an experienced Repair Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service while working with high-quality products.
The Role
As a Repair Engineer, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining garage doors and associated systems at customer properties. You'll be working on a wide range of door types and mechanisms, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard. You'll be customer-facing, representing the company on-site and providing a professional, reliable service.
Key Responsibilities
- Repairing and servicing garage doors (manual and electric)
- Diagnosing faults with motors, controls, springs, cables and locking mechanisms
- Carrying out safety checks and adjustments
- Replacing damaged or worn components
- Providing clear explanations and advice to customers
- Completing job reports and paperwork accurately

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Practical engineering or mechanical experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
