We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Quality, Environmental & Compliance Coordinator to support and strengthen our clients management systems and day-to-day compliance activities. This is a hands-on, varied role offering real responsibility and the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining high standards across quality, environmental, health & safety and operational compliance within a growing engineering business.
Working closely with management and the workshop team, you will help implement, maintain and continually improve our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems, while providing practical support that keeps operations running smoothly and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality, ISO & Documentation
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Maintain management system documentation and records
- Coordinate internal audits and support external audits
- Track corrective and preventive actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain QA records, inspection logs and job documentation
- Support first article and final inspection documentation
- Track non-conformances and follow-up actions
- Monitor quality trends and assist with improvement activities
- Support environmental aspect and impact tracking
- Maintain waste, recycling and environmental records
- Assist with risk assessments, method statements and staff inductions
- Support toolbox talks and compliance monitoring
- Maintain training and compliance records
- Maintain operational trackers and job records
- Support estimating documentation and job packs
- Liaise with suppliers and customers on compliance documentation
- Provide general administrative support linked to operations
About You
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working with documentation and compliance systems
- Comfortable engaging with workshop and operational staff
- Proactive, methodical and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, quality assurance or health & safety is desirable but not essential
