Our goal is to drive innovation in FMCG. We work with consumer brands on a journey to mainstream success, providing advisory and support services to help them scale. We also partner with retailers to make it easier for them to identify and back high‑potential brands. By supporting both sides, we drive the flywheel of progress.

About the role

We’re looking for a part‑time Marketing Director to build and lead YF’s marketing function. Your mission is simple but ambitious: turn attention into revenue and help maintain YF’s position as the dominant voice in challenger FMCG. You will architect the system that connects LinkedIn, email, PR, Community, events and CRM into one commercially‑driven engine. This is a strategic role with hands‑on impact - ideal for an experienced marketing leader who enjoys building properly, not just managing activity.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Translate YF’s 2026 ambition into a focused, measurable marketing plan
  • Align LinkedIn, email, PR, community and events into one coherent growth engine
  • Run disciplined 90‑day marketing sprints with clear priorities and outcomes
  • Lead, manage and hold the marketing team to account
  • Ensure marketing meaningfully supports — and constructively challenges — the business
  • Own lead generation strategy and funnel performance
  • Define and track qualified inbound (MQLs, SQLs and conversion rates)
  • Build robust CRM structure, segmentation and reporting (HubSpot)
  • Turn community and events into measurable revenue pathways
  • Establish clear dashboards and performance metrics
  • Use data to decide what to scale, optimise or stop
  • Act as the voice of the founder and operator in how YF shows up

What success looks like:

  • Clear marketing operating system in place within 90 days
  • Consistent and commercially‑aligned LinkedIn and email cadence
  • Measurable increase in qualified inbound leads
  • Stronger segmentation and CRM performance
  • Clear pathway from community to client
  • Marketing recognised internally as a disciplined revenue driver

About you

You don’t need to tick every box, but most of these will sound like you:

  • 10+ years marketing experience, including senior leadership roles
  • Experience in B2B services, professional services or FMCG ecosystem environments
  • Strong commercial instinct and revenue focus
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems (HubSpot ideal)
  • Comfortable building systems and processes from scratch
  • Experienced leading small, high‑performing teams
  • Structured, calm and decisive
  • Comfortable working part‑time but thinking long‑term

What’s in it for you?

  • A genuinely high‑impact part‑time leadership role
  • Direct influence on business strategy and growth
  • The opportunity to shape the dominant challenger brand platform in the UK
  • Autonomy and ownership
  • A collaborative, ambitious and human team culture

Location & setup

  • Part‑time role (approx. 16–20 hours per week)
  • Open to permanent or contract/freelance for the right person
  • London‑based preferred (especially for events and key sessions)
  • Hybrid working environment

Sounds like you? If you are excited by the idea of building a marketing engine that genuinely drives revenue and positioning YF as the defining voice in challenger FMCG then we would love to hear from you. Please apply via jointheteam@weareyf.com. First interviews to take place w/c 9 March online and final round in‑person w/c 16 March.
