The Role As Head of Sales – Retail, you’ll be the driving force behind expansion across grocery, pharmacy, and wholesale channels. This is a senior leadership opportunity where you’ll build a retail function from the ground up, shape strategy, and have a real stake in the future direction of the brand.
You’ll lead on building relationships with major UK retailers, driving sales and profitability, and ensuring the brand is positioned to win in an increasingly competitive market. Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll design playbooks, grow a team, and deliver impact at pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and refine the sales strategy for retail and wholesale growth
- Manage and expand key UK retail accounts, securing distribution gains and NPD listings
- Own full P&L responsibility, including forecasting, budgets, and commercial analysis
- Drive negotiations, joint business planning, and promotional strategies with retailers
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product to ensure successful launches and in-store activations
- Build strong buyer relationships and use category insights to unlock growth opportunities
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in FMCG sales or commercial leadership
- Strong background in grocery or pharmacy, with proven success in managing national retail accounts
- Commercially astute with experience handling P&Ls, forecasting, and category data
- Entrepreneurial and hands-on, with experience in scaling fast-growth brands
- Excellent communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder
- Purpose-driven, with a passion for sustainability, health, and positive change in women’s health
