This position will partner with school leadership to support communications, calendar management, and key administrative functions. This role is ideal for an experienced school leader who brings both a deep understanding of school culture and a willingness to engage in the day-to-day work that keeps a school running smoothly.
Working closely with the Principal and administrative team, this individual will help ensure continuity, clarity, and thoughtful coordination across school operations while serving as a trusted, experienced voice.
Position Responsibilities- Serve as a thought partner to the Principal and the administrative team
- Offer guidance based on prior school leadership experience
- Support organizational systems and help strengthen internal processes
- Provide mentorship and support to administrative staff, as appropriate
- Assist with special projects and school-wide initiatives as needed
- Manage the school’s social media presence from planning through posting
- Capture and share school life in a way that reflects the warmth, values, and mission of the community
- Partner with leadership on messaging around school events, programs, and initiatives
- Ensure consistency and professionalism across communications
- Maintain and update the school’s master calendar on an ongoing basis
- Coordinate scheduling of events, meetings, and programs across multiple stakeholders
- Communicate calendar updates clearly and in a timely manner
- Support the smooth day-to-day functioning of the school through careful attention to scheduling details
- Prior experience in school leadership or administration strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage school communications and scheduling
- Experience mentoring or supporting administrative staff is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Deep understanding of school culture and day-to-day operations
- Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail
- Excellent written communication and a warm, professional voice
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and good judgment
- High level of discretion and sensitivity to school dynamics
- Collaborative, approachable, and team-oriented
- Comfort with Google Workspace, calendar systems, and social media platforms
