Role Overview
Ready to take ownership of a business-critical Salesforce platform and play a senior role within our Salesforce team?
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to be the senior point for our day-to-day Salesforce Administration function. This hands‑on role combines platform ownership, declarative delivery, support operations and mentoring.
You will be part of an established Salesforce team, working closely with our Salesforce Systems Administrator, CRM Product Owner (Business Owner, CRM Platforms), two Salesforce Architects, DevOps and the wider IT team. Together, the team supports more than 200 Sales and Service Cloud licences across Sales, Customer Service, Product and Marketing.
You will take ownership of Salesforce support and operations, deliver backlog improvements through Flow, automation, configuration and data, and support connected platforms including Vonage, DocuSign and integrations with technologies such as OpenAI. Code-heavy work is handled with our Salesforce Architects, while you will take the lead on Admin and declarative solutions where that is the right approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day administration across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including objects, fields, relationships, record types, Lightning pages, permissions, sharing, security, data modelling, reporting and data quality.
- Design, build and improve declarative Salesforce solutions using Screen Flows, record-triggered and scheduled Flows, validation rules and other automation, translating business processes into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Work with the CRM Product Owner and Salesforce Architects to translate requirements into Salesforce solutions, improve business processes and determine when configuration or Flow is appropriate and when programmatic development is required.
Salesforce Support & Operations
- Own the Salesforce support service and Admin queue, including triage, prioritisation, escalations, stakeholder communication and timely resolution of operational issues.
- Lead investigation of complex Salesforce issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes, coordinating with first-line support, Architects, DevOps and suppliers where required.
- Monitor platform health and recurring support trends, including automation or integration failures, taking proactive action to reduce repeat issues.
Team Leadership & Capability
- Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring and development support to our Salesforce Systems Administrator, helping with prioritisation, guidance, feedback and ongoing skills development.
- Coordinate and review Admin work, provide coaching and quality guidance, and build greater capability and resilience within the Salesforce Administration function.
Connected Platforms & Business Systems
- Own day-to-day administration and operational support for Vonage and DocuSign, including users, access, configuration, licensing, issue resolution, supplier escalation and relevant Salesforce touchpoints.
- Take ownership of other business administration platforms within the IT remit, particularly services supporting Product and HR, with clear documentation, support processes and supplier ownership.
Governance, Releases & Continuous Improvement
- Work with Salesforce Architects and DevOps on governance and releases, including sandbox management, change control, testing, deployment, seasonal releases and package upgrades for declarative and connected-platform changes.
- Maintain strong platform governance and continuous improvement across security, data quality, documentation, technical debt and configuration standards, simplifying processes and reducing support demand where possible.
Required Skills and Experience
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator (ADM201) plus at least one additional role‑relevant Salesforce certification - essential. Platform App Builder or Platform -Administrator II (Advanced Administrator) would be particularly relevant, although other relevant Salesforce certifications will be considered.
- 3+ years of hands‑on Salesforce Administration experience supporting a business‑critical Sales Cloud and Service Cloud production environment.
- Strong practical Salesforce Flow experience, including Screen Flows and declarative automation, with the judgement to build supportable, scalable and well‑governed solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, sharing, permission sets, data management and platform configuration, with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience mentoring and providing day‑to‑day leadership to colleagues, together with strong prioritisation, stakeholder management and communication skills to balance operational work and planned backlog delivery.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Further relevant Salesforce certifications that demonstrate continued professional development, such as Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant or Business Analyst.
- Experience with connected business platforms such as Vonage/contact‑centre technology, DocuSign/e‑signature services or other SaaS platforms supporting Product or HR.
- Broader Salesforce delivery experience across release management, DevOps, package upgrades, APIs/integrations or Agile/Product delivery. An understanding of Apex, SOQL or programmatic Salesforce solutions is useful when collaborating with our Architects, but hands‑on development is not required.
This is a strong next step for a Senior Administrator who wants greater ownership while staying technically hands‑on.
- 10% protected R&D/professional-development time - one day every two‑week sprint, with support to continue building relevant Salesforce credentials.
- Continue developing your technical and leadership capability across Flow, security, data governance, Salesforce operations, releases and connected platforms, with access to experienced Salesforce Architects.

Company Profile
Founded in 1998 by Chief Executive Andrew Stanley, Golfbreaks has grown into a global golf travel business with offices in the UK, US and Scandinavia. We organise an extensive range of golf breaks, holidays and tournament experiences and have sent more than 3 million golfers to over 2,500 resorts and golf courses worldwide.
With over 25 years’ experience, we are the world’s number one rated golf tour operator, with more than 100,000 five‑star reviews. Our international reach combines local market knowledge with golf travel expertise, enabling us to deliver outstanding choice, value and service to golfers across the world. In the UK, customers also benefit from the reassurance and security of booking with a fully bonded travel company through both ABTOT and ATOL.
In April 2026, Golfbreaks became part of Sports Tours International, the UK’s largest sports travel group. Following the acquisition, the group’s Golf Holidays Direct brand joined our Windsor operation, bringing two specialist golf travel brands, Golfbreaks and Golf Holidays Direct, under one roof and creating one of the UK’s largest centres of golf travel expertise. While both brands are run from the UK, Golfbreaks is our global brand, serving customers across the UK, North America and Scandinavia.
Today, we have more than 200 people across our golf travel business, with our head office in Windsor, Berkshire, and international offices in Charleston, South Carolina, and Copenhagen, Denmark. Together, these teams underpin our global operations, combining the strengths of an international business with the personal service and regional expertise our customers value.
This new chapter gives us the scale, expertise and backing to accelerate our international growth, while retaining the specialist knowledge, culture and customer focus that have made Golfbreaks so successful.
