We are recruiting a qualified Assistant Greenkeeper as part of a world‑class team in the greenkeeping industry. This role offers excellent opportunities for progression and career development. Responsibilities include maintaining and developing the golf course, practice facilities, and surrounding estate, and participating in our tournament teams.
Sunningdale Golf Club is widely regarded as having two of the best and most beautiful courses in the British Isles, both ranked in the world top 100. The Club has a proud history of hosting tournament golf, having recently held the Curtis Cup, the Sunningdale Foursomes, and the Senior Open.

Qualifications:
- NVQ level 2
- Relevant work experience
- Good communication skills
- Willing and enthusiastic to work as part of a team
Additional Requirements:
- Spraying Certificates PA1, PA2 and PA6 (completed or willing to work towards)
Compensation & Benefits:
Annual Staff Fund payment, employer pension contribution 4% on all earnings (increasing by 2% on each 5th year anniversary with the Club), staff golf privileges, free golf lessons for beginners, access to golf through Artisans Club, staff discount in Professional shop, complimentary meals on duty, uniform, free parking on site, regular staff social events, training and personal development, staff accommodation, long‑service recognition on milestone employment anniversary years, access to staff benefits portal which includes Health & Wellbeing, Cycle 2 Work, Retail Discounts, death in service cover, and a salary range of £35,000 – £39,700 in line with experience & qualifications. This is a full‑time contract based on an average 40 hours per week.
