This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for delivering high‑quality playing conditions year‑round while managing the greenkeeping team, agronomic programmes, machinery, resources and course infrastructure.

Description
The Wiltshire Hotel, Leisure & Golf Resort is a well‑established golf destination, open year‑round and featuring an 18‑hole Championship Course and a 9‑hole Garden Course.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and presentation of both golf courses and surrounding grounds
- Coordinate and organise daily golf course operations
- Manage staffing, machinery, materials and maintenance programmes
- Implement agronomic programmes including irrigation, fertiliser and turf health management
- Maintain course infrastructure, pathways, car parks, depot areas and clubhouse surroundings
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and environmental regulations
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in golf course management
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Detailed knowledge of agronomy, plant pathology, entomology and turfgrass management
- Good understanding of soil science and sports turf maintenance
- Experience managing machinery, resources and budgets
- Full UK driving licence
