Cabot Highlands is seeking a qualified Greenkeeper to help maintain the exceptional condition and presentation of its world-class golf courses. Working as part of the Grounds Team, you'll carry out a range of turf maintenance operations while contributing to a first-class playing experience at one of Scotland's premier golf destinations.
Core Responsibilities and Competencies:
- Maintenance duties related to all aspects of turf management practices.
- Proactively contribute and support the Greenkeeper / Grounds Team.
- Support and lead where necessary the implementing and monitoring high standards of grounds maintenance and occasional landscape development on the Golf Course.
- Operate machinery, tools, equipment and materials to achieve and maintain the desired standards on the golf course.
- Encourage and support all members of the team who are operating machinery, tools and equipment so following all safe systems of work and associated procedures.
- Operates on the Golf Course to ensure that a positive customer experience is had by each member and visitor.
- Adherence to company H&S Policy.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Experience or qualifications in turf maintenance and agronomy practices essential.
- Level 2 SVQ in Sports Turf Management or related equivalent experience.
- H&S training in relevant practices to ensure H&S is practiced as per company policy.
- First Aid training desirable but not essential.
- Chainsaw qualification desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of Toro irrigation systems desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
