About Yes
Yes is an AI-native betting and gaming operator launching in Denmark in 2026 and across Europe from there. We are building for a wide, social-first audience that arrives from TikTok and short-form video rather than from TV and legacy media. The markets we are entering restrict the bonuses the industry has leaned on for two decades, so we compete on the product itself: a sportsbook with genuine depth, paired with popular and trending markets, mechanics and features that open betting to people who do not yet bet on sport.
About the role
You will own betting end to end and report directly to the Co-CEO. You will take a competitive sportsbook live in Denmark, then build the offering and betting market catalogue to fit our brand and customer audience. There is no layer between you and the decisions, and you will carry the vertical from launch into many other markets. The product runs on EveryMatrix and OddsMatrix underneath, with a frontend and middleware we own on top. Part of your job is knowing exactly where that line sits — what we ask our partners to build versus what we build ourselves — and prioritising for speed with a small team.
What you will do
- Take a competitive launch sportsbook live in Denmark for H2 2026, with the depth that matters to our bettors, the right mechanics, promotional features and markets offering.
- Keep the offering competitive where parity matters and create an edge where we can.
- Stay on top of liability and exposure, and work with internal stakeholders to manage as the book grows.
- Build and own a fixed-odds catalogue across relevant categories, designed to bring in both existing bettors as well as an audience that does not yet bet on sport.
- Own the betting conversion funnels, including from free to play products into real-money bets, and help embed video, streaming and social betting features into the experience.
- Work closely with marketing, engineering, creative, compliance and other internal stakeholders.
What we are looking for
- Deep betting-product expertise, first. You understand the features that genuinely move a sportsbook, you bet yourself, and you know the products from the inside. You can look at a competitor and tell us the operator, the provider and the mechanic behind it.
- A strong feel for liability and exposure. You are numerate and know when to manage traffic on adverse bets, when to hedge, and how exposure builds on big events.
- Fundamental understanding of prediction markets and their appeal. You understand why they are growing and their potential to reach people who would never place a traditional sports bet, and you can say what platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi get right and wrong.
- Forward-thinking. You follow what is breaking out in betting — in crypto, on streams, in newer formats — and you think about how to make it work for us, rather than defending a traditional book.
- An understanding of the younger audience and why they value different things from the classic bettor. You know how discovery and analysis now happen across X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and group chats.
- The judgment to build fast against a platform, deciding what to configure and what to ask for, in markets where bonuses are restricted and the product is the lever.
Ideal background
We are open to candidates with diverse background and experience but we are especially keen on:
- 3+ years of working experience in sportsbook operators (e.g., bet365, Unibet, Ladbrokes, PaddyPower, betfair, etc.)
- 3+ years of product development and/or product management experience
- Experience in fast-growing businesses and/or startups
Nice to have
- Interest in emerging betting, gaming and other entertainment formats, including prediction markets
- Experience in launching products in regulated industry
Location
We would prefer you based in London or Malta. We will consider a fully remote arrangement for an exceptional candidate.
