As the organization continues to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Workforce Development Team as a New Scheme Health and Social Care Trainer. As this is a national role you will be required to travel throughout the UK.
Health and Social care training experience is essential along with experience of working alongside and delivering programmes of learning to Area and Service Manager level. The ability to identify training and analyse data in respect of training planning and implementation is essential.
Working with the new build team you will be responsible for all aspects of delivery and planning of Health and Social care training across the country in line with project plans which will be utilised to look at training and development for new build schemes for the group. You will have key responsibility for the delivery of a range of learning including new Safe to Practice Induction and Care Certificate amongst others.
The post holder will need to manage the training from pre planning through to delivery stages. You will be delivering the majority of the training to ensure that new scheme staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work within the new services.
Training will be delivered in line with current WFD delivery models. The role will require you to have oversight of recruitment for new schemes as they enter pipeline as well as working with a local learning co-ordinator to plan and execute the training.
You will undertake monthly meetings as part of the new build project team and will be working closely with new scheme project managers, new scheme managers and new scheme recruitment manager.
You will need to be extremely organised and be able to prioritise your workload as schemes come online.
- You will be able to use project plans and data supplied to deliver cost effective training interventions for each scheme as they come online across the country.
- Work with new scheme project managers to analyse data from referrals to signpost new scheme training requirements.
- Each scheme will require you to deliver the safe to practice induction for all staff and any relevant scheme specific training.
- You will have experience of delivering health and social care courses, qualified and accredited to deliver Manual Handling and or Buccal Midazolam/Epilepsy.
