Join Yeovil College as a full-time Plumbing and Gas Assessor Deliverer and use your real-world trade experience to develop confident, work-ready apprentices, support local employers and help deliver training that truly reflects life in the industry. In this role, you'll take real ownership of a caseload of plumbing and heating apprentices, guiding them from induction to qualification and beyond. You'll use your trade experience to deliver high-quality training and assessment in the workplace, build trusted relationships with employers, and give apprentices the confidence, skills and support they need to succeed.
From agreeing learning programmes and booking End Point Assessments to supporting Gas Safe registration, you'll be right at the heart of their journey. You'll also play a key part in keeping standards high, maintaining accurate records, contributing to quality assurance, internal verification and standardisation. What we're looking for:
- Previous practical experience in plumbing and heating installation.
- Relevant Level 3 trade qualification.
- A relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
- Experience of supporting young people to learn and develop new skills.
- The ability to work successfully within a team.
- Proven skills at developing relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

- Annual Salary: Β£38,754 - Β£44,212
- Full time position, 37 hours per week, all year round
