Join our highly experienced team at Yeovil College’s Outstanding Ofsted‑rated nursery as a Part‑Time Nursery Practitioner, working 20 hours per week, all year round, maternity cover up to 12 months, starting September 2026. Our highly popular nursery is in high demand with local families, making this a fantastic opportunity to be part of a thriving early years setting.

As part of our passionate nursery team, you'll create a safe, nurturing environment where children aged 4 months to 5 years can flourish. Through engaging play and learning experiences, you'll support their physical, emotional, social and intellectual development, helping every child feel valued, confident and inspired to explore the world around them. Working alongside dedicated colleagues committed to exceptional early years care and education, you'll play a key role in shaping young lives during these important formative years.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience within a nursery environment.
  • A passion for early years development.
  • A Level 3 qualification in early years.
  • A first aid and basic food hygiene qualification or willingness to work toward it.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring disposition.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Able to work weekday shifts between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm.
