As our ILR Funding and Compliance Officer, you will lead the planning and delivery of robust data quality checks, manage statutory funding returns, and ensure the College remains fully compliant with funding body requirements. Working across Further Education, Higher Education, Apprenticeships, Adult Learning and other funded provision, you'll maintain an up-to-date understanding of funding rules, investigate and resolve data queries, support audits, develop quality assurance processes, and produce key performance reports. You'll also work closely with colleagues to improve systems and processes, oversee learner data compliance, support course setup and funding eligibility checks, administer government and provider systems, and provide line management for the Apprenticeship and ILR Assistant.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in ILR, data management, validation and funding compliance within Further Education, with a strong understanding of funding rules, audit requirements and statutory data returns.
  • Experience using Management Information Systems and large-scale databases, with excellent IT skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to interpret compliance regulations, solve problems, produce highly accurate work and meet demanding external deadlines.
  • Strong organisational, communication and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively with colleagues and deliver excellent customer service.
  • A Level 3 qualification or above, including GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above), with a commitment to maintaining high standards of data protection, confidentiality and compliance.
