Launch your career in one of the UK's fastest-growing professions with a Data Analyst Apprentice (Level 4) opportunity at Yeovil College. This fixed-term apprenticeship contract runs for the duration of the programme and offers the chance to earn while you learn. Working within our Management Information Services team, you'll use tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel and the Microsoft Power Platform to analyse data, create reports and dashboards, and provide essential data management, analysis and reporting of Defence Technical Excellence College (DTEC) data to inform strategic intelligence and decision-making.

What we're looking for:

  • Level 3 IT qualification with English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with data, numbers, IT systems or relational databases through education, employment or personal projects.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisation, with the ability to work to deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
  • A proactive, flexible and positive approach, with a willingness to learn new skills, systems and technologies.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with an interest in data analysis, databases and using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
