We are looking for an ambitious Carpentry Study Programme Manager to join our industry leading curriculum team on a part-time basis. Based in our brand-new, state-of-the-art construction facilities, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative programmes that inspire learners and prepare them for successful careers in the industry.
As Carpentry Study Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading high-quality study programmes that deliver outstanding learner experiences and prepare students for successful careers in the construction industry. Working closely with colleagues, employers and industry stakeholders, you will help shape and develop curriculum that responds to local, regional and national skills priorities, translating emerging industry needs into engaging and relevant learning opportunities.
You'll oversee learner progress, achievement, attendance and performance, support quality improvement initiatives, contribute to curriculum planning and development, and build strong relationships with employers to ensure programmes remain current, impactful and career focused. What we're looking for:
- At least 4 years relevant experience in carpentry and joinery.
- Relevant Level 3 trade qualification and strong knowledge of the construction industry.
- Experience of supporting young people to learn and develop new skills.
- The ability to work successfully within a team.
- Proven skills at developing relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
