Help shape brighter futures at Yeovil College as a Specialist Inclusion Practitioner on a term time only basis, working at the heart of our supportive and experienced SEN Team. This is your chance to make a real impact supporting learners on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help them thrive in their education. You’ll work closely with students who need that extra boost to access, engage, and succeed, empowering them to become confident, independent learners both in and beyond the classroom.

As our Specialist Inclusion Practitioner, you’ll assist and support individuals and groups of learners with special educational and general learning needs, enabling them to develop the skills they need to flourish across mainstream college courses. Your work will include delivering targeted interventions either 1:1, in small groups, or remote, while fostering positive relationships with learners, staff, and parents. You’ll contribute to planning and implementing support strategies, helping students grow in independence, access learning opportunities, and stay motivated. From creating resources and tracking progress to encouraging life skills and attending review meetings, this role is key to shaping brighter futures.
