What we'relooking for: Experience in post-16 education, ideally within a college-based Higher Education or Adult learning environment, with strong knowledge of the current FE, HE and adult learning landscape. Strong regulatory and compliance experience, with the ability to operate confidently within a regulated environment and contribute to effective policies, processes and quality assurance. A proven track record of using data and insight to improve learner experience, attendance, retention, achievement, progression and overall student outcomes. Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, with experience managing people and working effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and partners. A learner-focused approach, with an understanding of widening participation, student support, careers guidance and safeguarding, alongside experience delivering interventions that improve student success. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a high standard of written English, strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, use initiative and drive continual improvement.
