This is a full-time, split role , whe re half your hours will be spent as a Sport and Uniformed Protective Services Lecturer , and half of your role as a Sport Assistant . Based in our brand-new, state-of-the-art Sports Centre , youll have the opportunity to inspire the next generation while continuing to put your sporting knowledge and experience into practice. Youll deliver engaging learning across Sport and Uniformed Protective Services , while also leading training sessions , fixtures , Sports Leaders qualifications, competitions and enrichment activities to get more students involved in sport . Alongside this, youll help make the most of our exceptional new sporting facilities , supporting the gym, sports spaces and wider opportunities available to students. What w e're l ooking f or:
A genuine passion for sport and working with young people , with experience in a sports-related environment and a commitment to promoting health, fitness and wellbeing.

A confident communicator and engaging leader , able to present to groups, lead activities and motivate students to get involved and achieve their best.

Strong subject knowledge , su pported by a Level 3+ Sport qualification and ideally a degree in Sport, Sport Science, Coaching, Strength & Conditioning or a related discipline.

Experience of teaching, coaching or delivering Sport or Uniformed Services would be an advantage, but were equally keen to hear from those ready to take their first step into teaching.

Well organised, adaptable and proactive , w ith the confidence to use your initiative, manage competing priorities and respond positively to new challenges.

Committed to your own professional development, wit h a willingness to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification and other relevant qualifications, including Gym/Fitness Instructing and Duke of Edinburghs Award Expedition Skills, where required .

Annual Salary: £ 26, 129 to £3 2,114 depending on experience see job description for breakdown

Full -time position, 37 hours per week , all year round .
