This newly created role reflects Yeovil Colleges continued commitment to innovation, curriculum growth, and the use of the latest technologies. You will lead and deliver high-quality teaching and assessment for Aeronautical Engineering, covering both theoretical and practical principles for aircraft systems, structures, maintenance practices, engineering principles and industry standards. Working closely with employers, apprentices and full-time learners, you will develop technical capability, professional behaviours and workplace confidence while supporting innovative approaches to aerospace skills delivery. Knowledge of emerging technologies is welcomed, as Yeovil College continues to expand into this exciting and rapidly evolving area. What we're looking for:
Knowledge of aeronautical or aerospace engineering, with at least 2 years technical experience.
A level 4 qualification in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards
A passion for supporting students to learn and develop new skills.
The ability to work successfully within a team.
Proactive in initiating, developing and implement new ideas and developments.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
What we offer:
Annual Salary: £39,917 up to £45,539 depending on experience
Full-time position, 37 hours per week, all year round.
