Yeovil College is looking for a passionate and dedicated full-time, term-time only SEND Practitioner to make a real difference in students' lives. As a SEND Practitioner, you'll work closely with students who have EHCPs or additional learning needs, enabling them to fully access further education and thrive within mainstream classes. What we're looking for:
- A strong interest in working with young people with additional needs.
- Passionate about facilitating young people to make progress in all four areas in SEND and achieve learning goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A Special Education Needs background and knowledge along with IT and admin skills are key for the role.
- Level 2 English and Maths, or willingness to work towards.
- Level 3 Award for Learning Support Practitioners or willingness to work towards.
- Respectful of learners' personal needs and maintain confidentiality at all times.
