Business Assessor Programme Manager
and play a key role in developing the next generation of
business
professionals

Youll
bring your industry knowledge, coaching
skills
and passion for apprenticeships to help learners build the skills,
knowledge
and behaviours they need to succeed. Youll
manage a caseload of around
5575 apprentices, delivering
high-quality on- and off-the-job training
, coaching,
assessment
and support
from enrolment through to Gateway and End Point Assessment. Working closely with
apprentices
,
employers
and colleagues,
youll
create
structured learning plans
,
set and
monitor
milestones, carry out regular
progress
reviews
and ensure the required off-the-job training, Functional Skills and
qualifications
are completed and accurately recorded.
Youll
use
Smart Assessor t
o track progress and evidence
achievement
, ensure
compliance
with
apprenticeship
standards, funding
rules
and awarding organisation requirements, and
identify
and overcome barriers to progress.
Youll
also contribute to the development of
apprenticeship standards
and learner journeys, support recruitment and
curriculum planning
,
participate
in quality assurance and standardisation, and work collaboratively across the College to deliver an
outstanding apprentice experience.

or: Strong industry
expertise
at least 3 years practical experience in the relevant business area, with the occupational knowledge and qualifications to support apprentice development.
A commitment to learner success
able to set challenging but achievable targets, motivate apprentices and provide effective support to help them achieve.
Teaching and assessment capability
an assessing or teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.
Confident digital skills
comfortable using IT and online portfolio systems to support learning,
assessment
and progress.
Excellent communication skills
able to build positive, professional relationships with apprentices,
employers
and colleagues.
Organised and proactive
able to use your initiative, work collaboratively and represent Yeovil College professionally.
