Deliver high‑quality practical teaching, demonstrations, and assessments in a safe, well‑equipped environment. Manage workshop resources, maintain equipment, lead on health and safety, and collaborate with the Study Programme Manager to track student progress and support individual needs. Ensure programmes meet awarding body standards, support marketing and events, keep records on point, and contribute to shaping tomorrow’s dental professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver practical teaching, demonstrations, and assessments in a safe, well‑equipped environment
  • Manage workshop resources, maintain equipment, and lead health and safety efforts
  • Track student progress, support individual needs, and ensure compliance with awarding body standards
  • Support marketing and events, keep accurate records, and demonstrate strong organisational skills

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a dental technologist and knowledge of the latest technologies in dentistry
  • General Dental Council (GDC) registration
  • Assessors or teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
  • Interest in supporting young people to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to work successfully within a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Actual salary: £21,781 (FTE £26,864)
  • Part‑time position, 30 hours per week, all year round
  • 35 days holiday per year (plus Christmas closure & bank holidays) for full‑time equivalents
