We are looking for an experienced Skilled Machine Operator to join our Production Team at Yeo Valley Newton Abbot. This role offers a chance to help deliver high quality products across the UK in a fast‑paced environment with a can‑do attitude and strong work ethic.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off pattern: 06:00 to 18:00 daily. Based in Low Risk, Operations & High Risk Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Embrace Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
- Pack well‑known products.
- Operate a wide variety of machinery (filling, packing, forming or CNC).
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivery, lead by example and complete paperwork accurately.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Take apart, clean and rebuild production equipment.
- Carry out any other duties reasonably required.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating machinery (filling, packing, forming or CNC).
- Good communication skills; effective use of numeracy and literacy for documentation and record‑keeping.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
- Personal commitment to maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards.
- Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts.
- Highly engaged and a good team player.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
